The following isn't the reason Sian is the best wife in the world, it's just one example of it....
If you've read my tool review section, you know that the only tool I've officially reviewed is the ProTech miter saw I picked up at Menards. I still maintain that it is a good miter saw for someone who does minor home improvement. For larger tasks though...it just isn't up to the challenge. Aye, my $100 miter saw has gone to tool heaven for the most part. Oh, it still works; the blade will turn and cut wood if you hit the trigger. It just won't cut it straight. The miter table is shot. It was always hard to turn anyway. Now it wiggles around on its own. Enough that all of my straight cuts are actually about 3° miter cuts.
So, Sian bought me something today. Something really, really nice. See below.
