November 25, 2006 :: Short and Sweet
There won't be any yammering from me today. I'm tired. I've been awake since 4am, and I just ain't liking it much. lol I did get some stuff done today. A lot of it was non-master bedroom related. 2 trips to the landfill, for example. Not very exciting, and I have no pictures of that to post. The important thing is that Lath Mountain is now gone. Lath Mountain was, of course, the enormous pile of lath that accumulated due to me tossing all of the lath out the window. It's been sitting there a long time. The white window fan that you've seen in a few of the pictures of the bedroom is now gone also. It still worked fine, but it was hideously dirty. So, it's gone.
Anyhoo, pictures are below. I'm done talking now. Slumber calls with its alluring voice.
Here's Sian's closet as of last night.
I finally bought some more carsiding and started finishing this wall.
Note the blocks of wood under the headboard and frame. That's how much the floor slopes right there. That's the problem with using a level to install your wainscot in a 170 year old house.
As you can see, I'm only two small 1x6 short of having the front of the closet done now. Sian's closet is currently the home of a bag of trash. lol.
Of course I ran out of carsiding with only two pieces to go.
