Not gonna say a whole lot tonight. My cat is sick, I'm exhausted, and I'm missing Siân terribly. Plaster came down the other day. Tonight I ripped down all of the lath. Time for a whiskey. So, here are the pictures from tonights' work.
It seems obvious to me that this wall didn't originally end here. Could it have been a full-length hallway previously and then an expansion of the bedroom done later? That's my guess. Red arrows point out where that board was originally used elsewhere in a mortise & tenon configuration.
