So I'm a little late, eh? I had two job interviews yesterday, so there wasn't any work done on the house. However, my handy helper Brianna came over twice today, so some work was finally accomplished. With the exception of a couple of pieces of trim and some stain, the "Arch Project" is done. I'm sure you'll all be glad to not hear about it any longer. So here we go....
First, a flashback to what this looked like a few days ago....
Brianna was most helpful today. I hate painting.
We'll start in the lefthand corner. It's missing a couple of pieces of trim, but you get the general idea.

The little door for electrical access is, obviously, not stained yet. I just got the door up a few minutes before I took this picture. The red moulding will continue on across the door, up to the bookcase.
